Description:

The real story behind SAFE & EFFECTIVE public water supply fluoridation; current water supply fluoridation practices have been under close scrutiny for decades by the general public, academia and through the media.

Operating personnel will look at ways to minimize the fluoride dose and maximize the residual fluoride in water. One can learn best practices to maintain a consistent dose. Operators will learn best response to give customers who oppose water supply fluoridation and will view current common dosing systems and how to calculate appropriate chemical dosing structures. See why some key tools for reliable, repeatable, and accurate fluoride dosing are needed. Simple issues like why fluoride-free distilled/de-ionized water is so important, verifying every fluoride chemical delivery and why glassware can “make-or-break” the fluoride residual test, are explored.
